About this tool
Display a fictional full-screen update progress sequence using Modern Update, Retro Update, Corporate Install, or Futuristic System Patch themes. Customize the headline, subtext, duration from 1 to 60 minutes, and starting and ending percentages. Progress interpolates across the selected range over time, with restart and exit controls available during the simulation. Run a 1-minute sequence from 10% to 100% as a video prop, start at 45% for a presentation gag, or choose the retro theme for a themed event display. Corporate wording can resemble an installer while futuristic styling suits a game-night backdrop. Preview the settings and confirm Escape exits before entering full screen. This tool performs no update, installation, download, security scan, or system change. Use it only as disclosed entertainment or a consensual visual prop. Do not block another person’s device, mislead coworkers about downtime, imitate a real organization, request credentials, or claim files are at risk. A long duration can make the fiction unnecessarily disruptive; keep it brief and reveal it clearly. For genuine updates, use the operating system’s authenticated settings and do not interrupt a real installation based on this simulator’s display.
How to use
Choose one of the theme buttons above the settings card.
Edit "Headline," "Subtext," "Duration (minutes)," and the two values under "Start % → End %."
Press "Launch Simulation," then use "Restart," "Exit," or Escape in the full-screen simulation.
