Word Unscrambler
Find every dictionary word hiding in your scrambled letters.
About this tool
Find dictionary words that can be built from up to 15 supplied letters. Each result uses no letter more often than it appears in the rack, while * and ? act as wildcard tiles that can stand for missing letters. Optional filters require a character, starting prefix, or ending suffix, and results are grouped by length with longer words first. Entering “listen” can reveal “silent,” “enlist,” and shorter combinations supported by the dictionary. A rack such as “cat?” can use the blank for words requiring one additional letter. Requiring the prefix “re” narrows a large result set when a crossword or board position fixes the opening letters. Use it for anagram practice, Scrabble-style games, classroom vocabulary activities, jumble clues, or checking possible word patterns. The result depends on the bundled English dictionary, so names, slang, inflections, regional spellings, and specialized terms may be absent or may differ from a game’s official word list. Wildcards broaden the search substantially. Enter letters only once per physical tile, apply filters that match the puzzle, then click a result to copy it or copy the full list for review.
